Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Hi. I was just rolling tubes in my Primaluna Prologue 5 amplifier and did something exceptionally stupid. Was going to replace the power tubes I have in there (KT88s) with some EL34s, and I accidentally picked up a set of 6SN7s (driver tubes) and put them in there instead. Turned on the amp, no signal played from it, and the tubes did not get warm. Realized my mistake, put back the KT88s. Music is now playing and it sounds just like before. My question is whether there is any chance I damaged the amplifier. Should I have it checked? Ugh...I feel dumb posting this...

- I'd leave a note with those 6SN7's. - FenderLover 20:51:23 10/27/14 (2)
