Raytheon 12AX7 & 12AX7A and their 5751 consistently good tubes

I find the BP 12AX7A (spiral wound) has the cleanset mids-to-highest. And nice bass. Most of the 12AX7 and 5751 I have are black plates.

The gray plate ones I have are Made in Japan Raytheon's. These can be just as good as some of the older US made Raytheons.
