Like I said, the Bottle is the size of the T.S 6sn7gtb, and the spacers are similar along with a top getter. Whether this effects the sound I do not know. The plates are more similar to Rca, along with support rods. These are purely visual simalarities. A Gimmick? I dont thinks so.
According to my ear, they are besting 3 Nos T.S. gtb, 2 Sylvania GTA, GTB, 2 Rca blackplates, and a raytheon GTB. They are on par with my Sylvania gt's. They have the midrange magic of the Rca's without the tradeoff in damped highs.
Im sure they perform diffrently in diffrent systems, but they suprised me. Mike
