Thanks Steve. Very much appreciate your feedback. I was not really moved by the Russian 6pS3 (may have wrong letter, etc) when I tried them, but I may have not given them enough time. I have RCA and like the delicacy on vocals, although, it seems a bit 'scooped'. I've heard that the GE is very linear. I have some shuang kt 66's that are really good in the bass, but may be compressed in the mids and a bit almost solid state like, IMHO. What about Sylvania 6l6gc's?
