RE: Tubes

"I'm trying to think how one would have too much current but not enough voltage to kill a power tube - help me out."

You know it all - but you have to ask me?? You're just a poseur.

Do the math sonny, if you can't figure it out then come back and ask us all real nicely - maybe Chris or someone might help you out.

Here's a hint - what would happen to an EL84 lets say if there was 250 volts on the plate and screen (WELL within the tube limits) and it lost bias voltage? What do you suppose would kill the tube? Hmmm???
