I drive the primaries of a set of LL1660S PP ITs with one 6H30P-DR.

Does the job well. Sounds good. This valve is very much like a beefy 5687 as far as sound. No microphonics...very quiet. The valve likes higher plate currents 20 to 30 mA...built like a Russian Tank ;>0

I think the MU is comparable to the 5687...

If you have the right application, it's worth the extra cash.IMHO
