Philco did have a manufacturing facility on Church Street in Lansdale, Pa. I recall as a boy my father, who was a pipefitter working there, bringing home tubes he was given for our TV set in the sixties. Later on he was a superintendent on the project when the facility was converted to manufacture color TV tubes. The plant was torn down about 12 years ago to make way for apartments and a shopping center. I've lived about 1 1/2 miles from there for over 20 years now.
