In general, 5V4s are becoming scarce. You may have to take what you can get. :>)
The "best" 5V4s are Mullard made GZ32s and ST bottle RCAs. Find 'em, if you can. Then, bankruptcy awaits you.
An expedient that's not too bad is installing a Chinese 5AR4 bought from McShane, for all the usual reasons. That tube can take voltage, but runs out of steam trying to deliver 250 mA. Since the 5V4 is rated for "only" 175 mA., the Chinese tube will not be "in over its head".
