I've had luck biasing them a bit hotter, like 7581A region. Like 30-35 watts per tube (AB1, fixed bias), starting point. I have not tried any of the new reissued KT-66's. One thing, for the NOS tubes, if you bias them too cold, their tone really suffers. Very sterile. No warmth to the midrange. Kinda poor harmonic flavor.
