Jeff
Thats was a wonderful testimony and thanks.I was going to make a couple corrections,it was pin 3 on the output where the voltage was missing and thats how I knew the transformer was open on one side, not shorted.Jeff is a superb learner and when my automotive students are this easy to teach,or are this resilient after a let down,I jump for joy.
BTW,I was able to help Jeff late at night because being a college instructor,I only teach Mon,tues, and wed,so the last 3 nights were free that I could stay up late and sleep in.I don't sleep much anyway lol.
Basically it was an open that he fixed and after he put it back in,he had to remove it to fix the short that was created from not insulating the wires properly.I knew he could do this because I am well aware of his dedication to details.I saw how he relettered a face plate for a scott 222.He is very meticulous in his work and it shows.Good job Jeff.
