I have a quad of Tungsol 6L6GC in my Citation V. They are very good, and have about 400 hours with no trouble at all. As for the comparison to the 6P3S-E, I think I slightly prefer that tube over the TungSol reissue, but it isn't that big a deal. If the 6L6G sounds anywhere near as good it would be a good value. Get them from McShane or another really good vendor who knows how to match them. Your preference for any of these tubes will depend on your amp and the rest of your system of course, but all are really good tubes.
