I admit to being a bit biased, as I have had several GL Re-Issue KT88s have a blue light show or go cherry. I bought them from Jim McShane, and he was fisrt class about the whole thing.
I have had excellent luck with the shuguang tubes. I did have a quad of psvanes that were not good, but was able to send them back.
I have toyed with the idea of getting a quad from Jim and trying them one more time.
