Preamp right channel mystery

A friend has a Jasper Essence preamp that has lost its right channel. There's a whisper of sound. He's checked the tubes and the voltages around relays. Everything seems normal. The strange part is that the right channel works with one amp (McIntosh 225) but not with his other three amps (Sun 300B monoblocks, Marantz 8b, Allen 300B).

Any thoughts what might be wrong or why it would work with McIntosh but not other amps?
