Greetings,

I installed a NOS JAN GE 5751 in my Marshall JMP 50 last night. It works perfectly. Weird thing, though. After I turned the amp off and pulled the tube to have a look at it, I noticed that there was a clear round "hole" where the getter had burned the flashing away. When I looked at the tube more closely, I noticed that the getter is actually bent at an angle to where it is making contact with the top of the tube.

My question is, will the tube be damaged and possibly fail with the getter touching the glass, or is this no big deal?
