RE: Sylvania 6SN7 "Badboys"

It was indeed Robert who put the name to them. Back in 2000 or 2001, Robert got hooked up with a gentleman from Australia who'd unearthed a substantial cache of the 1952 Syls and was selling them on ebay for, are you ready, $60/pair. In a post back then, Robert was describing their sound and dropped the bad-boy name on them and it has stuck ... with very good reason IMO. They are an amazing tube.
