RE: tube testing question

I'm thinking it's the 6DJ8s. Other tube types have been testing as expected on the 539B. I'm suspecting the TV-7/u that was used for the original tests, has issues. The first tests were not done on my Heathkit as I previously thought. I think the TV7 made these 6DJ8s appear okay. Now that they're on the 539B, their true tests are being revealed. I've been taking 12AX7s from a friend's stash and they are not living up to their tests either. They were also tested first on the TV-7/u.

I've got a lot of testing and organizing to do this weekend. I'll have to get the TV7 back up on the bench too. But....we'll see how it goes. I've also got the house and lots of time to myself. Who knows what will happen. Testing and partying probably don't mix. The best laid plans of mice and men.

Oh, I suppose the last part of the lawn will get mowed. That's the extent of my work for this weekend. Clear and 70s.
