Most small signal tubes have a useful life of 5,000 to 15,000 hours. 15,000 hours is just over a year and a half of being constantly on. If you listen to it every day, it might be worthwile to leave on. If you do not use it every day, turn it off.
Some will say that tubes last longer if left on all the time because of heater failues from the on/off cycle. I don't know, I have not had a heater failure in the last 15 years and I turn my tubes on and off everyday. (And no, I have not been turning on and off the exact same tubes everyday for 15 years, variety is the spice of life.)
