I guess you've tried the BP Tungsol 6X4 and the Mullard EZ90? I found these two to be the best in overall tone, transient response, and tube life. I haven't seen a Radiotechnique EZ90. I've used Brimar and Philips-made EZ90. Found them good, but not as stout sounding as the Tungsol. Nor as smooth as the Mullard.
Just outta curiosity, how old are the main filter caps in your unit?
