I bought a Tung Sol 12ax7 for $50,its from 1958 so hopefully I like it,if not than I may try an RCA blackplate or a Tungsram than i'm done for awhile,the Mullard reissue to me was kinda boring sounding to me,the Sovtek sounds good too just a little to anesthetic,by the way this tube is for the V-2 socket which adds some color to the sound,the V-1 socket where I have a sovtek is just gain.
