Those curves are nasty looking and imply poor linearity. When you add the high heater draw and low control grid to ground resistance tolerance, the type is (IMO) singularly unimpressive.

Never loose sight of the fact that New Sensor's primary market is guitar players. Audiophiles are a very distant 2nd. The KT120 might have some uses in musical instrument amplifiers. I can't see it being good for HIFI.
