RE: "Snap" in one channel of Conrad Johnson MV-50 amp

Casual inspection of solder joints can miss a cold connection in which a wire slips inside a solder tunnel; only strong lighting, use of a magnifier lens, & tugging on the wire can reveal such. The intermittant snap is a result of a poor electrical connection, which can be anywhere or ahything. Such as a poor tube pin to socket grip connection, solder joints, loose mechanical mounting of potentiomenter terminals, failing capacitors or resistors or tubes, etc. You need to patiently apply methodical & thorough inspection from one end to the other; wily-nily looking here or there will waste time/effort & likely not ID the culpret = frustration & no remedy.
