The 6N1P-EV and the 6N1 are not 6DJ8 equivalents no matter what anyone says. The 6N1P/6N1 has more heater current requirements, and about twice the plate resistance of the 6DJ8/6992. That of course makes the plate curves and optimal operating points different, so save your money, and forget the 6DJ8/6922.twystd
