Suggestion for EI Goldpin 6DJ8 replacements...

I've got a newly acquired used Bottlehead Seduction Phono Preamp that I purchased on Audiogon. This is my first piece of tube equipment. It came with a pair of EI Goldpin 6DJ8s and I immediately noticed a channel imbalance upon firing it up. When I switch tubes L -> R the imbalance follows one of the tubes. I treated the pins with CAIG, but no improvement.

What I'm looking for are suggestions for replacement tubes that will work well in a phono-stage (i.e. quiet) with rock and jazz (my primary listening). I really like the sound the EI Goldpins make, if that helps.

Also - any suggestions as to where or from whom to purchase the tubes would be great!

Looking to spend around $100 for a pair.

Related equipment - Ortofon OM-40 feeding the Seduction out to a Naim Nait 5i and Usher X-718 monitors.
