Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

Hi all. I was thinking I might det more calrity, detail and dynamics if I bi amp my ARC D76A. I'm using GL KT88's in the D76A. It puts out 60 to 70 watts. I was thinking a solid state amp on the woofers and the D76A on the mids and tweeters. I am using Axiom M80 speakers now. So how much power would I need for the woofers in a SS amp? Should I stick with ARC? I have read warnings of gain problems when biamping. Thoughts...
