I've solved that type of hum in the past either using a cheater plug on the amp's PC, using a power conditioner, or simply re-routing IC's which were running too close to a power source. The cheater plug is a good place to start because if it works you at least know what the problem was. Anal electrician types will tell you this is NOT safe, but FWIW some amp manufacturers recommend this (Cary?) in thier manuals. I use them when I have to but I also have something else in the chain which is properly grounded. FWIW.
