I use a five minute epoxy that comes in two parts that you mix.
You can work it into the crack between the base and the glass using your fingers, then carefully wipe the glass and the base with a cloth.
If wiped off before it sets, the repair is invisable. Epoxy handles the heat well, better than other adhesives that I have tried.
