Just for grins see the link. FWIW, I have found sonic variation in Mullard EL84's as well as others. I have a lot of different NOS EL84's
and have experimented a ad nauseum. The *best* is circuit/source/cable dependent..not to mention personal preference. We all *hear* a little differently. I guess I will try a quad of the re-issues. :-)BTW, how do they compare to the Mullards you were using?
