Info on my NOS ECC88?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here but have been around for a while enjoying this great site. My question relates to a lovely sounding valve I just recieved. What is it exactly? I bought it as a Mullard ECC88 with no Mullard badge.

Here are some clues after refering to "The 6DJ8, 6922, 7308 Saga" in FAQ's which is excellent BTW.

Numbers/Markings. On the side a quarter way up from the bottom "I X" and below that "C 4 I"

- Looking down on the nipple, the top is divided by a seam definitely by half, can't see quarters though.
- The splatter shield is round with two raised sections cut out of the tin itself.
- There are no numbers between the pins (moves me away from thinking its a Sidemen, though some don't have numbers, most Sidemen's do)
- the getter halo is a round ring supported by one flat sheet of metal extending from the splatter shield.
- The lower and upper mica spacers are round with 12 tiny spikes pressed against the glass.

Thanks for any ideas of its origin.
