I don't have the same amp as you, but I highly recommend you get a pair of the new production Sovtek 12ax7-lps they made the biggest difference of all the tubes in my amp. I am quite happy with the old RCA clear top 12au7 in my system. You can get them for a reasonable price still. I also have some 60's non-clear top RCA 12au7s that I liked initially, but when I got the Sovteks the non-clear top RCA tubes just sounded a little too sweet. Obviously you may have a different experience with any of these tubes in your amp. Have fun with your new amp.
