Rectifier tubes Shootout

You know I have been playing with rectifier tubes lately and I have a lot of amperex,mullard,and phillips GZ34s and in every style from metal base to big bases.
Anyway down at the bottom in the center are a pair of Russian 5U4 Mil spec ST bottle and black plate from 1957 and you can get them on ebay and they are nothing short of SPECTACULAR.I bought 40 of them.I like the 5R4 RCA and the potato masher to and the RCA ST 5U4 all black plates to..The GZ34 metal base are the best GZ34 I find although I don't know if its better than the XF1 mullard gz34 or just slightly different sound.
