I am sending few reactions:

Every new octal tube which left our company has pins dia 0.093"+/-0.0025" We stopped to use "smaller" pins at least 2.5 years ago. I cannot say how old are tubes which you have received.

I also don't think it is necessary to explain all technical explanations like:

red base was substituted by black one because of better electrical non-conductibility or solder which was substituted by lead free type.

Every musician and technician who uses tubes can make his of idea about your explanation that JJ tubes has 50 times higher rejects compare to other competitors.

You talk about Tesla quality and differences between Tesla and JJ. Just for your information: Jan Jurco (and 5 next engineers at JJ worked in Tesla during more than 25 years) and they can compare quality of former Tesla and JJ. Their view is opposite to your.

If you decide to stop use our tubes we will not be happy. But it is all what we can do because general trend is that our growth in 2007 was 41%.
Jim, every view from our customer is important and we try to understand it and solve it (if it is possible) and also your view will be discussed.

Anyway: If you want you can publish this reaction on internet forum but please add also your e-mail to us.
