About the sound qualities:

Edisonwu, as I mentioned, I don't own any of the B7*9 series, but the sound of the A2900 (in my MC275) is also very special, as you mentioned for the B7*9 series. I noticed two things:
1. The tube definitely sounds stronger (more gain?) and
2. That special "shimmer/sparkle", which I already get from the NOS GL KT88's, is increased after adding the A2900's.

So of course I'm very curious to know what additional performance I might get from adding the B759's, but I will probably never know unless you want to lend me a pair ;-)

If I can track down where I read about the actual GEC-made 12AX7, I'll post it here.
