Hello,
I recently traded some 'speakers in for Harbeth HL Monitors MK III.
Out of curiosity,I took the grills off the 'speakers to have a look.
I saw that the woofer was travelling back and forth about and inch at the rate of about twice/second. Both 'speakes were doing this although
not at exactly the same speed. Could this be a 5(?)Hz hum problem.
I had the ST70's 7199's put into triode mode with 12au7's installed to make up for the loss in gain. Glass audio mod, sounds great but what is this oscillation problem?
I am scared to use the amp now for fear of damaging my 'speakers.
