Integrated Tube Amp. for ProAc 1.5?

206.159.10.217

I may purchase the new ProAc Response1.5 floor standing speaker. The
speaker is rated at 88 db linear with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
Recommended amp. 20-180 watts. I auditioned it with the wonderful but
very pricey Audio Research VT 100 MK II.
I prefer a tube amp but would like to keep it simple. I am considering
two integrated tube amps:
l. The VAC Avatar rated at 67Wpc ultralinear and 27Wpc triode. It also
has an excellent phono stage.
2. The Cary SLI 80 Integrated Amp rated at 80Wpc class AB and 40Wpc
class A triode. I would need an external Phono Preamp.
3. The VAC has an active Preamp. not sure about the Cary. Is this an important feature?
Wonder whether these amps would be appropriate to drive the ProAcs in a
"normal size room at average listening levels.
Would appreciate any help or opinions regarding the synergy of these
components.
