had a chance to play with the current version of the ZT-Pre. I'm

very gracious with your time and money...

I thought the Zen IIs were just beautiful, but the ZT-Pre didn't
win me over. To be honest tho, I really didn't give the ZT-Pre
as much attention as I did the Zen IIs. As they were basically
what I was there to listen to.

I can tell you tho that I heard no hum or any other noise or
anything else that detracted from the sound quality. Sitting
down to listen, I honestly could only find flaws in the listening
room and really non in the way of hardware...cables excepting...

Please keep in mind, that doesn't mean I'm saying the stuff is
flawless, just that nothing really jumped out at me as bad...

Hope this helps some...at least Steve's service is pleasent and honest...
