usually about even third time you replace the driver tubes.But this is just a general idea.
What is mostly important is that you replace the tubes with other good tubes which you have recently purchased because you might think they sound better. This is much more important to do than weighting until some of the tubes you have don't make any sounds anymore, or glow bright red, and cause you amp to smoke some.
