Personally, but I have not dissected any of the demagnetised tubes, I do not believe the degaussing will affect the microphonics. If anything, it may actually increase the microphonics.I believe much of what constitutes microphonic tubes is tied to mechanical factors. Loose structures implanted in the mica sheets, perhaps an unanchored grid winding, can lead to microphonics. Since deguassing involved a large oscilating AC field and you can hear and feel the tube vibrating, my guess is that the induced motion may not be good for the mechanicals within the glass envelope. In particular, the grid windings on frame grid tubes like a 6922 are quite delicate and exceedingly fine. Excessive shaking would not bode well, at least not for long term degaussing.
