Tube baking works!

I just tried the tube baking trick mentioned here on some 5751's that I was about to toss. They tested well but aging made them sound dull and muffled. Baking them at 350 degrees for 3 hours revived the sound, returning lost detail and resolution. This is a great money-saving trick and I hope it works for power tubes as well. I guess I can continue reviving tubes in the 'sarchophogus' until they test bad or the getter compound is depleted.
