John, hi. Very interesting history. Thanks for taking the time. The 6900 gets my vote for most amazing Novar. The HY-G-300 series tubes are amazing: ruggedized, long life, and reliable. However, not many people will be operating their audio amps at 80,000 feet or need to plunge them from boiling water into ice water without tube failure. Still and all one must admire the determination to make a tube that would survive such brutal treatment.
