I was just offering, of course, some suggestions for additional, possible detective work that might help garner a piece, or some pieces, that alone or put together might help ID a tube otherwise not easily ID'able.

I'm certainly with you on your comments. Yeah, sometimes you're left guessing. I've got tubes like this, too. What the heck are they...?
