You have a bad filament connection. This could be in the power supply itself, the cable or in the preamp. Since the LED lights there is power, also there is filament voltage. The LED is driven from that. My guess is the cable.
Email me and I can walk you through it. However there are lethal voltages in the preamp, so if you don't feel comfortable, get someone to help you.
I can also repair it for you if you wish.
