Hello all,
I would like to know what is the LOW NOISE version of the E88CC/E88CC verisons: E188CC? 7308? CCa?
Please forgive my lack of knowledge... but my preamp depending on the type of the output stage valves is noisy(hiss) with my high efficiency speakers.
For example, with the original 6922 Sovtek it is much noisy.
Same situation with Tesla E88CC and Phips JAN 6922.
The Mullard with dimple disc getter is quite silent as well the 6H23-EB that is similar in shape to the Sovtek 6922.
Please, any suggestion is highly appreciated.
