I had a Leak 20 for years with a 5u4G used as rectifier {got more bass, slightly better midrange}. Yes will draw more current, I HAD no problem......... BUT the Leak's Power supply IS a weak spot IMHO and why they didn't utilize a choke with tube rectification is beyond me~~~~~~~~~~~~~> ~!@#$%^&*( Tightwads?
