GE oval greyplate, mark 188-5. You'll thank me (and jimmy) for a long time.I compared it to Mullard, Amperex, RCA (another fine US tube), Telefunken and Siemens. In Heathkit, Dynaco, Sherwood, Eico, etc. All the aforementioned tubes have their high attributes. The GE came out on top for me.
