Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

I have a pair of what are branded Mullard ECC85s. They say "MADE IN HOLLAND" on them; the code has mostly rubbed away but this is what I think I can make out (the top line is very shaky):A7D1
1814The first line is fairly unimportant, and I believe the second means the Eindhoven Philips factory, fourth week of January, 19X8. How do I tell the decade, and would you advertise these as Mullards or as Philips?
Thanks. This is fairly urgent because I've got an ad up on eBay for an amplifier that uses these and they're included. I could easily get away with passing them off as Mullards because its logo is on the tubes, but I'd rather be honest. Thanks.
