When introduced it appeared that the KT90 was destined to overtake the 6550 and maybe even the KT88 in popularity. Limited availability seems to have dampened this, especially since Ei is on the sidelines for now.
Manley still uses the KT90. Obviously it has "balls", but is it really better sounding than the 6550 and KT88, both of which have seen some improvements in recent years? Is it reliable? Is it worth paying the premium price for it?
If you really have experience with the KT90, can you share your impressions of it?
