Thanks for the info Bambi. I put in the Tung sols last night and first impressions are good. I also really liked the Siemens and hope the Tung Sols measure up. I have Sylvania 6201's in the McIntosh C22 preamp and like them as well. Do you know a source for the Sylvania triple mica 12at7WA's you speak of. I have never tried them and would like to give them a shot in the C22.
