Set the switches Up and Down as listed. Then you move all the levers that are centered up, one at a time. Some SHOULD light, which will be listed. For example, heater pin will light, showing continuity. Actually, if one the listed pins DOESN'T show "short", something is open. A few tubes (like 6BQ5) have connections that vary on the unused pins - some will show a "short" on these pins, some won't.
