They sit inside cages made of steel strip and heavy gauge mesh. they have two wooden rails underneath, and a stop-strip across the back end. I've painted them to 'sort of match' my gold/bronze 'once were' LEAK St20's!two stero power amps???? yep! for semi-active horisontal biamping!?
The cages absorb most of the incident sound, as they are not tightly linked to the amps' chassis.
Some felt? or sorbothane strips? WGAS / * see below!
Each cage has a cast off-white block of soft-concrete# utaked to the wood strips and one of standard off-white concrete on top. I have built a pair of #sand-boxes but not in place yet. Other tasks!
