I've got a NOS Valves stereo amp ordered and coming within a couple of months. I'm leaning towards a Juicymusic Merlin based on excellent references, but I've pretty much blown my budget and I don't have a preamp or linestage. Is there any tube preamps or linestages under $500 or so that y'all would recommend? With remote volume at that price? Or am I dreamin'
